Kroo

Two brothers in the construction industry came to Mhood Design to design a MVP mobile application for aiding contractors in finding and hiring talent. We built the UX and visual design for the app, as well as initial standards for graphics.

Building the Brand

We began with exploring various structural logo concepts for Kroo, keeping in mind their vision and key demographic of construction workers. After thorough review and exploration we landed on a design solution for the brand and app.

Laying the Foundations

Once the logo was developed, we designed a guidebook for Kroo that acted as a foundation for growing the brand as the app progressed. These standards were the visual language used with the application and other brand collateral.

The Application

Before beginning design, we worked out basic user flows and important actions this app MVP needed to have. These core features and functions were foundational keys that the app was to be designed around.

The Right Personas

Getting to the core of the people who were going to be using this application was key for Kroo. We developed different user personas for each case type of person who would be using this application. These assets acted as a guiding light for important design and UX decisions for the application.

Wireframing

Getting the UX, experience, and function down properly for Kroo was a big part of the MVP's success. We designed numerous versions of wires for certain key functions to ensure functionality and design resonated with its core user base.
